"Jake Gyllenhaal likes to spend quality time with his sister. I admire Jake for that, but I’m no BrokeBack Mountain fan. Jake brought his sister to the AMMO restaurant in a very nice black C Class (I think) Mercedes Benz and it looks they had a good time there". Source: celebrities.biteus.org

"What’s an environmentally sensitive ranch hand to do? He loves being out on the range, working with deer, antelope, and Jake Gyllenhaal, but he’s worried that his big, V-8–powered pickup’s odious fuel economy is giving him a Nebraska-sized carbon footprint. If he could just get, say, 25-percent-better fuel economy, he’d sleep a lot more secure in the saddle, and his fuzzy friends would surely appreciate it, too. It’s nice for him, then, that GM is preparing to launch mechanically identical two-mode-hybrid versions of its excellent full-size trucks, the Chevrolet Silverado and the GMC Sierra, and the company claims—hey!—a 25-percent mileage improvement over a comparable gas-only model". "A general love of Volkswagen vehicles is giving two Waynesboro men their 15 minutes of fame.Jason Kauffman, owner of Waynesboro Auto Sales on West Main Street, and Dustan Thompson, a road mechanic for Canteen Vending, refurbished a 1966 Volkswagen Microbus and supplied other VWs that will be featured in “Taking Woodstock” an Ang Lee film to be released this August. The film, featuring Demetri Martin, Liev Schreiber, Eugene Levy and Emile Hirsch, is based on the book “Taking Woodstock: A true story of a riot, a concert and a life”, written by Elliot Tiber with Tom Monte.Kauffman said Lee, known for his work with the 2005 release of “Brokeback Mountain” and the 2000 release of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” wanted the bus to be painted Turkis green, an original Volkswagen color, with a white roof. Minimal work was done to the interior because the film’s art department was to finish the details". Source: www.therecordherald.com
"Only a handful of spectators witnessed the action on the closed set, though plenty of locals saw an earlier scene, where Gyllenhaal sits in a black Mercedes Benz with driver Oliver Platt (“Dr. Doolittle”) at the wheel. The car was stationary, towed by a trailer behind an Aliquippa police escort, though in the movie it’ll look like they’re cruising down Mill Street. Beaver resident Carey Kuhl got to be in a scene with Gyllenhaal. She was allowed on the hospital set because her ’97 Toyota was among the vehicles chosen for the scene". Source: www.timesonline.com
