"Universal has announced the release date for director Jon Favreau's adaptation of Cowboys & Aliens. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 29, 2011, with The Smurfs providing competition for the weekend. The movie concerns an alien invasion in Arizona during the 1800s.Daniel Craig recently replaced the departed Robert Downey Jr. in the lead role of 19th-century gunslinger Zeke Jackson.
Olivia Wilde will join Craig in the alien invasion.
