Fincher, Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg

#08. The Social Network
Director: David Fincher
Writer(s): Aaron Sorkin
Producers: Dana Brunetti, Ceán Chaffin, Michael De Luca, Scott Rudin Distributor: Columbia Pictures.

The Gist: The film will focus on the evolution of Facebook from its 2004 creation on the Harvard campus by sophomore Mark Zuckerberg to a juggernaut with more than 60 million members. The film will cover how these unimaginable overnight riches changed the lives of Zuckerberg and his Facebook cohorts..... (more)

Cast: Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Brenda Song, Joseph Mazzello, Rooney Mara, Rashida Jones Andrew Garfield and Max Minghella.
Director David Fincher and Jake Gyllenhaal attending the premiere of 'Zodiac' at the Palais des Festivals during the 60th International Cannes Film Festival on 17th May, 2007 in France.

Why is it on the list?: Fincher has made us afraid of the dark (Zodiac), afraid of growing old (Button) and now, perhaps afraid of becoming filthy rich. Should be interesting to see how Fincher visually and tonally treats a drama about how "fake" online friendships lead to the demise of real friendships.

Release Date/Status?: Columbia have slotted this as an October 15th release and might want to add a festival pre-release either at TIFF or BFI London".

"Anne Hathaway knows how to have FUN with her onscreen kissing scenes".
Anne Hathaway in GQ Magazine UK, March 2010 photoshoot.

“If you’re both unattached and you get along, of course kissing in a movie is fun. But you can never get truly deep down and into it. Well, I can’t.”
Anne Hathaway in photoshoot by Mario Sorrenti for LA Times.
“Jennifer Garner — now that girl can movie kiss. I gotta say that girl can really give it some up there,” Anne dished to GQ. “Full-on movie kissing… it’s a totally different experience. But really you have to be Angelina Jolie to pull that off and still look good. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I ain’t no Angie.” Source: backseatcuddler.com

TeenHollywood: When was your first screen kiss?
Anne: My first film kiss was when I was 16. It wasn't a film kiss. I did a TV pilot for Fox, which turned into a series called 'Get Real'.

And I was so scared I was shaking for like two weeks beforehand. But at this point I'm kind of a film kissing alum".

Jesse Eisenberg played Kristen Stewart's love interest in "Adventureland" (2009).

Jesse talked to "i-D" Magazine about how awesome kissing his co-star felt like:
"Being a movie star does have its benefits. Especially when you're cast opposite Kristen Stewart. "I love my scenes with Kristen", he says, brightly. "She's a great actress, and really funny". "I just go to a therapist to brag about my job where I get to kiss girls. It's the greatest thing ever".
Kristen Stewart lifting her arm before kissing Jesse Eisenberg in "Adventureland":
It's another of Kristen's acting traits in the prelude of her kissing scenes (which I find so delicate!):
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson about to kiss each other in "Eclipse" (2010).
