Jake Gyllenhaal in Vampire Weekend video
"Giving Up the Gun" is (arguably) the best song from Vampire Weekend's superb Contra, and the track's music video has the potential to boost it even further. According to an Anthem interview with the clip's co-director, Emmett Malloy, it revolves around a "bizarre-o tennis match" featuring RZA, Jake Gyllenhaal, VW lyrical touchstone Lil Jon, and Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. (Kevin Jonas wasn't available, apparently.)
Talking about the video, Malloy-- who directed the White Stripes documentary Under Great White Northern Lights-- said: "We lit shit on fire. We had RZA presiding over the tennis match. Lil Jon came down to give some tennis tips.

Jake Gyllenhaal drank himself out of the competition; Joe Jonas tried, but did not succeed. There was a lot of rigorous competition, pyrotechnics, and a little bit of milk to cap it all off."
The "Giving Up the Gun" video is set to premiere UPDATE: The video will premiere tomorrow on Spinner.com.

“Tron Legacy” stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde talk with Access about how exciting it is to be a part of this film and the technology used for the movie.
"Tron Legacy" is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that's unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous. The Yellow Handkerchief New TV Spot starring Kristen Stewart, William Hurt and Eddie Redmayne.
Elizabeth Snead chatted with Kristen Stewart about her new film, "The Yellow Handkerchief," at the Four Seasons in LA. And with her was her costar Eddie Redmayne. Who apparently, kisses better than Robert Pattinson.
"Gordie", she replied quickly. Eddie challenged her, laughing and adding, "You said the right thing. If Rob were sitting there, would you have said that?" "Absolutely," Kristen replied.
Wow. Since Bella and Edward's kiss won Best Liplock at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, Gordie's kiss must really be something.
Kristen also revealed her feelings about those 'Breaking Dawn" rumors about making the book into two movies and adding a 3D element.

"The story definitely warrants two films," she notes. "I'm sort of not supposed to have a feeling about this. I mean, to be honest, we're definitely making the movie. Who knows how many and who knows if it will be in 3D. Hopefully, we're gonna start doing that soon. I'm like pretty eager to get back to it. November, hopefully". Source: blog.zap2it.com

Christoph Waltz as the ruthlessly pragmatic Col. Hans Landa in "Inglorious Basterds" (2009).
"Christoph Waltz, a frontrunner in the Best Supporting Actor race for his portrayal of the charmingly sadistic Col Hans Landa, Reese Witherspoon with her new date Hollywood agent Jim Toth.
will make a deal to star with Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson in Water for Elephants, the Richard LaGravanese-scripted adaptation of the Sara Gruen novel for Fox 2000.
Francis Lawrence is directing. The role at first appeared to belong to Sean Penn who's been on a self-imposed big screen sabbatical, but the deal went south. Instead, Waltz will play the heavy in the Depression Era romantic triangle
Robert Pattinson ("allergic to vaginas") in Details magazine photoshoot, March 2010 issue.
involving a veterinary medicine student (Pattinson) who joins a 2nd-rate travelling circus and falls for the star performer (Witherspoon). Waltz will play her husband, a dangerous paranoid schizophrenic animal trainer who is as mean to his wife as he is to the circus creatures. Gil Netter, Erwin Stoff and Andrew Tennenbaum are producing.
Waltz was a journeyman German TV actor when Quentin Tarantino cast him to play Col. Hans Landa, the charmingly sadistic and manipulative Nazi officer. It got him a Hollywood agent at ICM, and the chance to make Hollywood films. Pending a deal, this would be Waltz’s second studio role. He played the villain opposite Seth Rogen in The Green Hornet for Columbia Pictures". Source: www.deadline.com

Kirsten Dunst attends Rodarte Fall 2010 Fashion Show
Kirsten Dunst an Jason Schwartzman attending Rodarte Fall New York Fashion Week on 16th February 2010.
NEW YORK — The bittersweet drama that played out on the Rodarte runway Tuesday reminded fashion insiders why Kate and Laura Mulleavy have become such a big deal in such a short time.
Natalie Portman attending Rodarte Fall 2010 N.Y. Fashion Show.
The theme of their collection was the hazy state of consciousness that comes between sleep and being awake. Lovely, lace-draped dresses in a light, almost dusty palette captured the feeling of vintage lingerie and wallpaper prints but there was something weighing on them, too – a seriousness, a respect". "Today, according to 1Up, Ubisoft has confirmed that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will release on May 18, one week before the blockbuster film, "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," hits theaters. We've known for a while that Ubisoft would try to place the new game sequel as closely as possible to the movie, so May 18 hardly comes as a surprise. And although the promising action flick starring Jake Gyllenhaal could be cool, we're far more excited for The Forgotten Sands, a sequel to last generation's first PoP adventure, The Sands of Time. So, yeah, we've got the movie based on the first game coming out a week after the sequel to that first game comes to us in interactive form...understand now? The Forgotten Sands loses the cel-shaded look of the previous series installment and shifts back to fighting multiple foes at once, but we still get a partner. It isn't Elika, but Razia, who should be of great help in battle. For our part, there are few games that rank higher on the priority list in 2010". Source: www.psextreme.com
