Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal weren't on screen couple - they had no scenes together in "Rendition".

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal aren't off screen couple either - their fauxmance is a PR deal.

The title of the post was intended to mean these are couples that appear together on screen or off-screen, if you buy them or not as couples doesn't matter that much.
