Gwyneth Paltrow as Catherine and Jake Gyllenhaal as Harold Dobbs in "Proof" (2005)
"Once considered the goody-two-shoes of Hollywood, Gwyneth Paltrow has showed her more risqué side by posing naked but for a pair of fishnet tights and Louis Vuitton jewellery for Vanity Fair magazine's August jewellery calendar.
Paltrow's recipe for Lemony Grilled Chicken to accompany the wrap is as follows: "Marinate chicken breast in lemon juice and a tiny (emphasis on tiny) bit of olive oil. Season well and grill. Serve with the steamed vegetable or vegetable salad of your choice." An afternoon snack of almonds or organic fermented tea is followed by Anderson's "super-low calorie" turkey kale soup for dinner. "I can eat what I want as long as I exercise, which is just as well, because if I put the word 'diet' into my brain, I immediately gain a stone."

She regularly dispenses fashion advice through her site and recently teamed up with a shopping website to select a handful of wardrobe "basics". She faced accusations of being out of touch when the price of her "capsule wardrobe" turned out to be £11,894". Source: www.telegraph.co.uk

Jake Gyllenhaal flirting with Olivia Wilde at Chateau Marmont
Jake Gyllenhaal visiting A Medical Center in Beverly Hills,
on 24th June 2011
"Jake Gyllenhaal was cracking up and laughing with pals during a lively night at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont – but the actor gave special attention to one woman: Olivia Wilde. The two were very flirty, an onlooker says, acting "touchy-feely." Says the onlooker: "At one point, he had his hand on hers." Still, the two weren't overly affectionate with each other. "Olivia was very cool," the onlooker says, "and wasn't fawning over Jake but seemed to like the attention he was giving her." Alas, at the end of the evening the two went their separate ways". Happy 36th birthday Tobey Maguire!
Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal as Capt. Sam Cahill and Tommy Cahill in "Brothers" (2009) directed by Jim Sheridan
Sam (Tobey Maguire) is not dead; he and a fellow soldier have been captured by Taliban fighters. In Afghanistans harsh, remote Pamir Mountains, Sam is subjected to traumas that threaten to rob him of his very humanity. At the same time that Sams sense of self is being destroyed overseas, Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal) self-image is strengthening at home. When Sam unexpectedly returns to the States, a nervous mood settles over the family. Sam, uncharacteristically withdrawn and volatile, grows suspicious of his brother and his wife. Their familiar roles now nearly reversed, Sam and Tommy end up facing the ultimate physical and mental challenge when they confront each other. In the shifting family dynamics, who will dominate?
Directed by six-time Oscar® nominee Jim Sheridan (IN AMERICA, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER), BROTHERS tells the compelling tale of how two brothers come to terms with issues of love, loyalty, and manhood—and with the woman caught between them (Natalie Portman).
Brothers (2009) Sam (Tobey Maguire) loses it

Kristen Stewart's favorite outings in 2011
Over the course of this year, so far, Kristen Stewart has been spotted out and about on several occasions . . . so which is your favorite look so far?
Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 Calendar Cover
She started out by attending the People's Choice Awards (taking a break from filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) in support of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this January, wearing an appropriately sparkly gold Reem Acra dress (Hollywood Crush has the scoop on how to replicate the look here), wavy hair, and, of course, Jimmy Choo shoes.
Then, she was seen in Proenza Schouler for Vogue's February 2011 issue, a designer which she later repeated use of for the MET Gala in New York in May, once Breaking Dawn filming came to a close.
For the MTV Movie Awards, in early June, she chose a red, short Balmain dress (with safety pins) and black pointy heels. She also chose Balmain for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards just a few days later, only the second dress was considerably more neutral.

Warren Beatty will direct and star in Howard Hughes film
Billionaire tycoon Howard Hughes with actress Gene Tierney
"We heard on Monday that Warren Beatty made a deal with Paramount to produce, write, direct, and star in a new project after a decade-long hiatus from filmmaking. At the time, there were whispers this was the opportunity for Beatty to play legendary movie mogul Howard Hughes, a role the actor has long coveted.
Beatty is going all out to assemble a supporting cast, meeting with Andrew Garfield, Alec Baldwin, Shia La Beouf, Jack Nicholson, Evan Rachel Wood, Rooney Mara, and wife Annette Bening (duh). Hughes had a lot of famous friends, and I encourage you to match this list of actors to their Old Hollywood counterparts in the comments. Given Beatty’s age, though, the film presumably takes place during Hughes’ recluse years — I do not know who kept him company at this stage in life. More after the jump:
Leonardo DiCaprio played Howard Hughes in "The AViator" (2004) directed by Martin Scorsese
Baldwin, of course, already played Pan Am founder Juan Trippe opposite a fictional Hughes (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) in The Aviator. Speaking of such conflict, how do you think Christopher Nolan — another filmmaker fascinated by the Hughes legend — feels about this development? Source: collider.com

At the time, there were whispers this was the opportunity for Beatty to play legendary movie mogul Howard Hughes, a role the actor has long coveted.
American industrialist, aviator, and film producer Howard Hughes (1905 - 1976) sits with American actress and screen icon Ava Gardner (1922 - 1990) during an event in 1946.
Story details are still scarce, but Deadline hears this is indeed a Hughes-centric project that “involves an affair [Hughes] had with a young woman in the later years of his life.” Beatty’s script is not a biopic, per se. That is understandable, since Beatty is older now (74) than Hughes when he died (70). Deadline’s initial report suggested it may be a comedy.
