New publicity stills and spoilers of "Love and other drugs"

New publicity stills of Jake Gyllenhaal as Jamie Randall in "Love and Other Drugs" (2010)

"Jamie gets his ideal job as a sales man for Pfizer, selling pharmaceuticals to doctors in Ohio. Jamie's main problem is getting their drugs Zoloft, to compete with Prozac. He struggles at the beginning, but after making aliases in doctors, and receptionists, he becomes successful and gets his dream job in Chicago.
SPOILERS: The finale of the movie sees Jamie chasing a bus to Canada carrying Maggie, which leads the viewer to believe that Jamie is going to crash in a sick twist. However, take your hands down he doesn't crash, and they meet and make up. They probably go onto be happy ever after, even though he is destined to a life of looking after her as she enters the later/deteriorating stages of Parkinson's." Source: www.financenews.co.uk

Anne Hathaway chosen by Christopher Nolan to play Selina Kyle in "The Dark Knight Rises"

A video about Selina Kyle aka catwoman from "Batman returns".

"Chris Nolan has lifted the veil off his third Batman film. He has set Anne Hathaway to play Selina Kyle, who has a double identity as Catwoman. Nolan has also acknowledged that his Inception star Tom Hardy will play the villain role of Bane, an escaped prisoner who became abnormally strong after being pumped full of drugs. Bane is known as "the man who broke the Bat" after he broke Batman's spinal cord in the comics storyline. Warner Bros has a checkered history with the Catwoman; Michelle Pfeiffer was hailed for her performance as the feline in 1992's Batman Returns. A subsequent attempt at a 2004 spinoff movie with Halle Berry was a flop. Hathaway has been vying for the role since last November, along with actresses that included Keira Knightley, Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively and Natalie Portman. Deadline revealed last October that Hardy was set to play the villain role. That started a guessing game over which Batbaddie he might be. Now we know. Here is the official studio announcement".

Jake Gyllenhaal: a natural born salesman with magnetic charm

Jake Gyllenhaal plays Jamie Randall in "Love and other drugs" (2010)

"Gyllenhaal’s magnetic charm and understanding of his character drew me in from the very first scene. He’s a natural born salesman. Not Jamie, but Jake. He’s one of those actors who could read the phone book and keep me captivated for hours. Match that with Anne Hathaway’s, our terminal love interest, overt sexiness and undeniable wit, and we have a match made in Hollywood Heaven. But, match all of that with a screenplay pumped out from a “funny romantic comedy moments” generator, and that’s where our movie starts to fail. Its pacing and slick editing make this all too watchable, but the heart of the film didn’t beat for me. Not once.
Scans of "Love and other drugs" in Imagenes (Spain) magazine

Anne Hathaway’s performance, however, is truly something special. And, were she given a better script, she would have been all over this awards season, triumphing. She’s Earthy, she’s compulsive, she’s – most importantly – tangible. It’s the kind of performance you can feel in your bones. Believable from her first scene, and so on until her beautifully realized final moments. Her performance is extremely controlled, but it never feels like she’s playing it safe.
The most important thing to remember about Love and Other Drugs is that it’s – first and foremost – respectful of the illness it portrays. The only time when it is played for laughs is during the Parkinson’s convention Hathaway’s Maggie attends, and actual survivors speak and tell jokes. Otherwise, it’s treated with an appropriate somberness, but done so that the film doesn’t lose its lightheartedness. Zwick’s a talented director, and I’ll certainly see his next departure". 'There might be damage' clip from "Moon" directed by Duncan Jones

"When talking about Mute, he told us that: Well it’s in a bit of a limbo actually.

People just say, why can’t it be in a contemporary setting? But no, it’s about mood and atmosphere as much as anything else. It’s also quite dark so it’s been a tough sell. Also, it’s not a big film, it has been designed to be sort of a smaller and more independent film. Budget wise, it’s in between Moon and Source Code.

I just need to get away from it for a while. I’ll come back to it one day and hopefully it’ll work the way I see it working. In the meantime, I have another project that I’m very excited about". Source: wegotthiscovered.com

Robert Downey Jr. Gives Un-PC Intro in Golden Globes Presentation

"I consider myself a veteran of sorts," he began on stage. "And I've made somewhat a study of this."
"I don't know if an actress can do her best work, until I've slept with her, Julianne", Downey Jr. continued, referring to nominee Julianne Moore. (She was up for 'The Kids Are All Right.)
"Told her that I was working with strange new feelings that were confusing me, Angie, only to have her blow me off half way through the shoot like it never happened, Annette," he jabbed at Angelina Jolie and Annette Bening, both nominated for the category that Bening eventually won. But it didn't stop there. "If I could, I'd give it to all five of you, at once," he said of the award". Source: www.popeater.com
