"Born in Germany, in 1954, Ellen Von Unwerth has become one of the most influential fashion photographers in the world in the past few decades. Her images - whether color or black and white - are united by their production values and an impeccable sense of detail, but also for conveying a spontaneity that gleefully celebrates sexuality and femininity. Her photographs of female icons - including Kate Moss, Dita von Teese and Carla Bruni - often explore fantasies, featuring risque “props” such as a riding crop or handcuffs. The results are a fabulous mix of voyeurism and humor, teasing out the wilder nature of her subjects. Her new book Fraulein is available from Taschen". Source: www.eluxury.com

Kristen Stewart: top trendsetter in 2009

Chloë Sevigny has received a nod for Golden Globes 2009 for her portrayal of Nicolette "Nicki" Grant on "Big Love" tv series. Nomination: Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Source: awards.omg.yahoo.comKristen Stewart wears Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Lace Up Booties (see below):
"She's had a whirlwind year and more hair and makeup changes than a Britney Spears concert, so it's no surprise that Kristen Stewart topped our readers' list of trendsetters for 2009. While we love Kristen, those of us at Sugar HQ have a soft spot for someone whose beauty antics were endlessly entertaining and inspiring — the one and only Lady Gaga. We know she's wild and wanton, and we adore her for it. Baby girl is single-handedly bringing the avant-garde back to pop music, and we wholeheartedly approve". Source: www.bellasugar.com
