Reese at Brentwood school

"Fresh from a trip to Europe, Reese Witherspoon was spotted settling back into her daily routine today (May 6) as she dropped her son Deacon off at school.

The “Sweet Home Alabama” sweetie looked sporty as she left the Brentwood school, sporting a grey v-neck shirt teamed with a black tennis skirt and sunglasses.
Reese and her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal were halfway across the world in Italy over the weekend to see Jake’s sister Maggie Gyllenhaal marry her fiancĂ© Peter Sarsgaard".

Anna Paquin in "Margaret" by Lonergan

Jake Gyllenhaal and Anna Paquin in "This Is Our Youth is a play by Kenneth Lonergan, Jake and Anna played Warren and Jessica at the Warrick Theater in London from March 15th to April 20th, 2002.

"Originally produced by The New Group, it opened at the INTAR Theatre in New York City in October 1996. It later opened at the Douglas Fairbanks Theatre in November 1998. It was directed by Mark Brokaw, with Mark Rosenthal as Dennis, Mark Ruffalo as Warren, and Missy Yager as Jessica. It later played popularly for some time in London's West End produced by Phil Cameron for Background, Clare Lawrence and Anna Waterhouse for Out of the Blue (for and on behalf of Back to Blue Limited).

The play has become very popular among the younger theater generation for its edgy issues and modern themes. It has seen its fair share of popular film actors in its roles, many of them in their first stage role. At the Garrick Theatre in the West End it featured Hayden Christensen, Matt Damon, Colin Hanks, and Chris Klein as Dennis, Jake Gyllenhaal, Casey Affleck, Kieran Culkin, and Freddie Prinze Jr. as Warren, and Anna Paquin, Summer Phoenix, Alison Lohman, Heather Burns as Jessica".

Jessica Biel on  the set of "Nailed", on 16th April, 2008.

"I mentioned how so many films, and not just small independent films being bankrolled by money-laundering pimps (yes, that’s indeed why Tom Sizemore is still getting work), are going under due to the recession. But the recession isn’t always the case of someone shutting down his/her movie – in the case of director/co-writer David O’Russell’s “Nailed”, the recession definitely didn’t help, but the movie was always one step away from going on permanent pause.

The film, which started up late last year, stars Jessica Biel as a small-town waitress who, upon getting a nail in the head, starts to get overtly horny. Jake Gyllenhaal was set to play a young congressman ready-and-willing to take advantage of Ms Biel.
The lovely Jessica Biel (and I mean that, she’s lovely – the girl is more than tits-and-ass, she’s one of the most down-to-earth beauties working in Hollywood today; always enjoy talking to her) told The Orlando Sentinel that doing the film (or part of – a film) was “quite an experience”.

Not only "Nailed" has been experiencing problems of filming delaying, "Margaret" (2009) had a rough way to its current status as completed, a movie whose lead female star is Anna Paquin in the role of Lisa Cohen, directed by Kenneth Lonergan.
"Margaret" has turned into a nightmarish production that has devolved into a bitter court fight. Despite "Margaret's" initial promise, it is now uncertain when Lonergan's movie, which was filmed more than three years ago, will ever make it to theaters.

Movie studio shelves are filled with troubled projects that have been put on hold for any number of reasons, but rarely do they involve someone of Lonergan's standing working with such quality actors ("Margaret's" cast includes Ruffalo, Matt Damon and Anna Paquin) and an all-star producing team of Oscar winners -- Scott Rudin ( "No Country for Old Men") and the late Sydney Pollack ("Out of Africa").
"Margaret", on the other hand, remains in legal limbo, and even if the lawsuits are settled or tried, Lonergan still hasn't finished the movie to his liking, according to several people close to the production.
The story revolves around 17-year-old Lisa (Paquin), who may have contributed to a bus accident in Manhattan's Upper West Side. Lisa's mother, Joan (played by Lonergan's wife, J. Smith-Cameron), is a single mom grappling with parenting and her acting career. A sexually active teen, Lisa inappropriately flirts with one of her teachers (Damon) while arguing with her classmates about the Middle East. Lisa ultimately becomes involved in a legal action against the bus operator(Ruffalo)

"Paquin is dating Stephen Moyer, who plays vampire Bill Compton on “True Blood.”

“I have a very, very ridiculously perfect setup because usually the thing about acting and relationships is someone is on the other side of the planet,” she said. “So it’s an incredible luxury to get to spend your work time and your personal time with the person you want to be with all the time.”

If we still don't know which version of Anna is better, the brunette one:or the blonde version:
what about a mix of brunette/blonde highlights hair:

Anna Paquin and Evan Rachel Wood: True Blood

"HBO’s True Blood has its second season coming up pretty soon. June 14th to be exact.
True Blood will again be starring Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse, Stephen Moyer as Bill Compton, Sam Trammel as Sam Merlotte, Ryan Kwanten as Jason Stackhouse and Rutina Wesley as Tara Thornton. Additional casting includes Evan Rachel Wood as the Louisiana vampire Queen, Sophie-Ann.

Evan Rachel Wood and her "blood-sucker" companion Marilyn Manson.

"Charming. Sweet. Funny. Not exactly the first three words that come to mind for Marilyn Manson, right? Try telling that to his "maybe" girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood".

Poking fun at Catherine Hardwicke

"Twilight fans have had some fun on YouTube at director Catherine Hardwicke's expense, spoofing her presentation on the film's DVD extras.

Proving that she does, indeed, have the ability to laugh at herself, Ms. Hardwicke joins some friends including Michael Angarano, Kristen Stewart, and Nikki Reed in her office to poke some fun of their own. Angarano and Reed previously worked with Hardwicke on Lords of Dogtown".

Michael Angarano in "The Bondage"

"Michael Angarano (Sky High, Lords of Dogtown, Snow Angels, Forbidden Kingdom) stars as Charlie Douglas, whose story is based on the true life events of writer/director Eric Allen Bell. Charlie's mother (Illeana Douglas) and brother (Evan Ellingson) watch helplessly as his antics give him a ticket to Juvenile Hall. Mae Whitman plays Angelica, a kindred spirit he meets while waiting to be locked up and Griffin Dunne is the psychiatrist assigned to counsel Charlie.
The film is both a scathing commentary on the juvenile justice system as well as an indictment of the psychopharmacology industry. But it's also a tender coming-of-age story and a tale of romance and survival.

Now an effort on the part of devoted fans of Angarano has resulted in a new, unofficial website for the film at
thebondagemovie.com

The creator of the site hopes to inspire some movement on the part of those who own the film's rights to settle the various legal and financial disputes which are holding up the release of The Bondage.

500 days of summer & The Brothers Bloom

"You knew it starred Zooey Deschanel — who you like off and on, depending on the role and just how pixie she is - and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who impressed the hell out of you in Brick and Mysterious Skin and, by rights, should be well ahead of Zac Efron on the “next big Hollywood leading man” chart.
It is, after all, the best indie romance since Eternal Sunshine of the Mind, a movie that fills you with that helium-like affection and a movie that will alternate between playing your heart strings like Eddie Van Halen on a coke bender and Yo Yo Ma covering a Beth Orton ballad. Jumping around chronologically, 500 Days of Summer tracks the rise, the fall, and the possible rise again of Tom (Gordon-Levitt), a greeting card maker with an architecture background, and Summer (Deschanel), an assistant in the greeting card company.

It’s a story about love, but it’s not a love story".

"Whatever magical ability Wes Anderson once had to mesh well-crafted, supremely acted films with heart-bump, pitter-patter, soul-tug whimsy may have left him in 2001, but the spirit of Anderson’s first three films has been transplanted into the talent of Rian Johnson. In tone and aesthetic, The Brothers Bloom is the spiritual successor to The Royal Tenenbaums, but it’s less wink/nudge, less precocious, less satisfied with its own sense of cleverness, and even more novelistic in its approach. It possess the same heightened sense of reality, though; the same offbeat sensibility, and the same fairy-tale quality that Tenenbaums radiated, only The Brothers Bloom is the sort of fairy tale you might hear Ricky Jay recite to distract you from a 90-minute sleight of hand trick. Mark Ruffalo is charmingly slick in an uncharacteristic role in which he’s not any form of mope, which is Adrien Brody’s territory in The Brothers Bloom and he plays his part perfectly: A sad, empty man waiting for his inner puppy dog to rise to the surface and lick the world’s face. But it’s the two women in The Brother’s Bloom who steal it, own it, and sell it back to you for twice the price". Source: www.pajiba.com
