Taylor Swift in Gisele magazine photoshoot (Jan 2011)
"The two stars, whose brief relationship fizzled in December, arrived quietly together on Wednesday at Bound'ry, a restaurant near Swift's Nashville condo, and were led back to a table for two, according to another patron.

And another source tells PEOPLE that they seemed friendly. "There was no holding hands, but they seemed happy together," the source says. "They sat next to the fireplace just chatting away." Source: www.people.com
"He said he just wasn't feeling things anymore. He didn't like where things were headed."
"He cares for her deeply, but it's over now, the source said, adding that Swift "told him they were cool, but the whole thing was really weird to her." Source: www.countrystandardtime.com

"So why would Jake visit Taylor in Nashville after all the backlash surrounding their relationship? Is he doing that patented guy thing where he senses the girl is on the verge of moving on, and suddenly decides he wants a second chance? Could it be they were just having a post-mortem “let’s be friends” chat? Or maybe we’re all just pawns in their publicity/promotion game and they were never an item at all. So many scenarios, so little answers!

Taylor is scheduled to ship out on her "Speak Now" world tour in just a few weeks, so unless the lovebirds commit to an international LDL, they probably won't be spotted together in the foreseeable future". Source: www.yourtango.com

Dolores Moran (27 January 1924, Stockton, California – 5 February 1982, Woodland Hills, Los Angeles)
Dolores Moran on the set of "To have and not have" with Howard Hawks, Humphrey Bogart and Walter Brennan.
Dolores Moran was checked out at an annual Elks Lodge picnic by a Warner Brothers talent scout in the early 40s and a starlet was born. Dolores was a popular pin-up item with soldiers after appearing on magazine covers. Typically utilized in small film parts from 1942 on, she appeared in Bette Davis and Miriam Hopkins' tearjerker "Old Acquaintance" (1943), she played Helene De Bursac in "To have and not have" (1944) with Bogie and Bacall, Raoul Walsh's "The Horn Blows at Midnight" (1945), "Christmas Eve" (1947) and "Silver Lode" (1954). She was married to the film producer Benedict E. Bogeaus in Salome, Arizona in 1946 and they had a son. They divorced in the early 60s and not much was heard from Dolores until newspapers reported her death at age 58 in 1982.
Dolores Moran had an affair with director Howard Hawks while filming "To Have and Have Not", which Hawks undertook mainly as revenge for his rejection by Bacall in favour of Bogart.
Howard Hawks had tested both actresses for the part of Marie "Slim" in 1943. Bacall was under personal contract to him, so he favored her results over Moran’s.
Walter Szurovy, the actor who played Moran's husband Paul de Bursac in the film, thought Bacall had more aptitudes for the role of "Slim".
Bacall recalled her "To have and not have" experience in her autobiography "By Mysel": "Halfway into the film, Howard (Hawks) ran some of our scenes cut, showed them to Bogie, and with Bogie's help had come to the conclusion that no audience would believe anyone or anything could come between Slim and Steve. So scenes were adjusted accordingly and all of mine made stronger and better".

"One popular story is that Academy librarian Margaret Herrick said the statue looked like her uncle Oscar. A journalist apparently overheard this conversation and used the phrase in an article.
The first time it is thought to have been used in print was when columnist Sidney Skolsky used it to describe Katherine Hepburn's first best actress win in 1934.
The Academy officially adopted the nickname in 1939. The trophy was designed by MGM art director Cedric Gibbons. Since its inception 2,530 Oscars have been handed out.

Humphrey Bogart failed to win an Oscar for Casablanca
Among the overlooked films were Hobson's Choice, Dirty Harry, The 39 Steps, The Searchers and King Kong.
Actors that failed to win for their iconic roles included Al Jolson in the Jazz Singer (1927), Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca (1944), Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain (1952) and Henry Fonda in 12 Angry Men (1957)". Source: news.bbc.co.uk
Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher at the premiere of "No Strings Attached" held at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles on 11th January 2011
Still of Barbara Hershey and Natalie Portman in "Black Swan" (2010)
Still of Natalie Portman and Greta Gerwig in "No strings attached"
"Kutcher and Portman have terrific screen physics, using their 12-inch height difference to considerable slapstick effect. He is a galumphing hulk who comes to heel when the munchkin barks at him. Do they have chemistry? Not exactly. But both are such gorgeous animals that their couplings are frisky fun without being sexually explicit.
With laser rather than scalpel, Meriwether's script dissects dating in the post-courtship era. Professionally driven Emma and roommates (hilarious Greta Gerwig as Patrice and Mindy Kaling as Shira) are overworked doctors lacking the time to get to know guys other than biblically. Veterans of keggers, these gals are not fluent in the dead language of dating.
Thus Patrice's "Eureka!" expression when a date opens her car door for her is priceless, like that of the cavewoman who invented the wheel. Thus Adam's horizon-scanning gaze as he takes Emma on a date is like that of Magellan circumnavigating a relationship". Source: articles.philly.com
