"The Sexiest Women of Summer Movies 2010"

Scarlett Johansson in "Iron Man 2".
She Plays: Natasha Rushman, aka Black Widow, Gwyneth Paltrow's sexy competition for Iron Man Tony Stark.

Where Else You've Seen Her: Bringing the heat to films like 'The Other Boleyn Girl,' 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' and 'He's Just Not That Into You.'
Why She's Hot: Does this one really need explaining? Everything about ScarJo screams bombshell (not the Jesse James ilk), from the the plump lips to the hourglass figure. There's a reason Woody Allen (and everyone else) is obsessed with her, and she goes down in history as one of the hottest catsuit-wearing action stars thanks to 'Iron Man 2.'
Amanda Seyfried - 'Letters to Juliet'
She Plays: Sophie, a girl who finds a 50-year-old letter and travels around Italy to reconnect its writer with her long-lost love
Where Else You've Seen Her: Singing in 'Mamma Mia', acting stupid in 'Mean Girls', and saving her small town from a demonic Megan Fox in 'Jennifer's Body.'
Amanda Seyfried - (Dear John Portraits)

Why She's Hot: This 24-year-old blonde bombshell lit up the screen earlier this year in 'Dear John,' the film that officially dethroned 'Avatar' as king of the box office. Now she's off to Italy in the romantic comedy 'Letters to Juliet,' where she'll have not one, but two men on her radar (Gael Garcia Bernal and Christopher Egan). Talk about a hot ticket.
Megan Fox in 'Jonah Hex'

She Plays: A butt-kicking hooker named Leila.
Where Else You've Seen Her: As hottie Mikalah Baynes in 'Transformers' and as demonic hottie Jennifer in 'Jennifer's Body.'
Why She's Hot: If there were ever a more apt last name in Hollywood history, we don't know of it. The 'Transformers' starlet is drop-dead gorgeous in that almost-too-sexy-to-be-true way, almost in an Angelina Jolie meets Carmen Electra prototype, and her body-baring ways only continue in 'Jonah Hex.' Brian Austin Green (y'know, David Silver) is one lucky dude.
Gemma Arterton & Jake Gyllenhaal at Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time UK Premiere oin 9th May, 2010

Gemma Arterton - 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time'

She Plays: Princess Tamina, whom Arterson describes as "not a damsel in distress."
Gemma Arterton in Details (USA) - May 2010

Where Else You've Seen Her: As Strawberry Fields in the James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace,' and as the goddess Io in the remake of 'Clash of the Titans.'
Why She's Hot: Gemma Arterton first blipped our sexy radar in her short scenes as Strawberry Fields in the James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace'; she turned our heads again playing a goddess in the revamp of 'Clash of the Titans.' And dare we say, her gorgeous features nearly overshadow Jake Gyllenhaal's pecs in the upcoming 'Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.'
Jennifer Aniston in 'The Switch' (2010)

She Plays: Cassie, a woman who uses a sperm donor to get pregnant only to find out her best male friend switched out the two donations.
Where Else You've Seen Her: In romantic comedies 'Marley & Me,' 'He's Just Not That Into You' and 'The Bounty Hunter.'
Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal at the 9th Annual Hollywood Film Awards on October 24, 2005

Why She's Hot: No one rocks a romantic comedy like Jennifer Aniston, and she's not about to stop now -- going toe-to-toe with Jason Bateman in 'The Switch,' and almost single-handedly turning this lightweight romantic comedy into a movie we want to see. Yes. The Aniston has that kind of power.

Kristen Stewart in Elle magazine photoshoot May 2010 issue

KRISTEN STEWART – TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE

She Plays: Bella Swan, the teenage girl lucky enough to win the affections of sexy vampire Edward Cullen.
Where Else You’ve Seen Her: As Joan Jett in ‘The Runaways’ and in the other ‘Twilight’ saga movies.
Why She’s Hot: Kristen doesn’t fit the textbook “hot Hollywood actress” template, and that’s what makes her so attractive — and it’s probably the reason Edward and Jacob continually fight over her in ‘Eclipse.’ She’s subtle, not overly flashy or flirty, and has a dark, slightly sourpuss edge to her. Plus, if you saw ‘Adventureland’, you no doubt have a crush on her like we do.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead - 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World'

She Plays: Ramona Flowers, a girl with seven evil exes that her new boyfriend (Michael Cera) must defeat in order to date her.
Where Else You've Seen Her: As Bruce Willis' daughter in 'Live Free or Die Hard,' and as a cheerleader in 'Death Proof'/'Grindhouse.'
Why She's Hot: Winstead had better be hot. In 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,' she plays a girl whose new boyfriend must battle seven evil exes in order to date her. Luckily, Winstead, in both a pink and a blue wig for the role, comes off super punk-rock sexy in the film. Winstead was also beautiful au naturel as Bruce Willis' daughter in 'Live Free or Die Hard.'
Nikki Reed attending Young Hollywood Awards - Show & Backstage, May 13 2010

Nikki Reed wore:
Chris Benz Spring 2010 RTW Garden Dress and
Nicholas Kirkwood Spring 2009 Gold Slingback Sandals
Where Else You've Seen Her: In the rest of the 'Twilight' movies, as well as 'The O.C.,' where she played Sadie.
Evan Rachel Wood and Nikki Reed in "Thirteen" (2003)

Why She's Hot: Every horror movie needs a hot chick, but Nikki Reed, though foxy, is more than that. She wrote her debut film 'Thirteen' when she was just a young teen, showcasing her bad-girl, troubled past. Hot. Now, Reed plays a classier character: Rosalie Hale, the snobby beautiful vampire in the 'Twilight' saga; and she gets to play sexy again in the scary 'Chain Letter.' Reed's dark skin, long unruly hair and endless legs make her a definite standout for the summer.

She Plays: Jessie, a teen who becomes the target of a maniac killer after not forwarding a text and email chain letter; she also reprises her role as Rosalie in 'Eclipse.'

Jake Gyllenhaal never broke the accent in Prince of Persia

Scans of Prince of Persia in Cinemania (Spain) magazine.

The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time stars talk about their steamy love-hate on-set relationship
The Hollywood heart throbs play feisty pair Dastan and Tamina in the new adventure film, which is based on a cult video game.

Despite its action-packed plot however, we’re pleased to see that there’s plenty of sparks flying between the pair.

'There’s an inexplicable connection between them', Gemma reveals, 'and of course he’s gorgeous as well!' she adds.

The tension between the pair is clear as they compete for a treasured dagger, but really, admits Jake, 'it’s love at first sight'. Aww!

"The topic that has brought my interview with the Prince of Persia star to a grinding standstill is that of his late friend, Heath Ledger — whose daughter, Matilda Rose, is Gyllenhaal’s goddaughter. Initially the actor seems happy to discuss their work together in the Oscar-winning Brokeback Mountain — which featured several cowboy-on-cowboy love scenes — and he describes the filming in the summer of 2004 as “a magical time . . . I’d never witnessed the power of a movie in that way”. But when I ask how he remembers his Australian co-star, who died two years ago from a prescription drug overdose, his entire body appears to turn stiff, and a long, deeply uncomfortable silence ensues.Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal attending 'Brokeback Mountain' at Venice Film Festival Photocall on 2nd September, 2005 in Venice, Italy

“Uh ... yeah,” he manages, eventually.
But Gyllenhaal isn’t angry, I soon realise. He’s choked — to the point where his eyes are glassing over. “That role” he says, of Brokeback, “and the fate of all the characters and souls who were involved in the making of that project ... it’s just . . .” He trails off. “I don’t have much to say. Apart from the fact that that film moved many, many people.”“It all started with the idea that the movie was going to be based on a sense of reality,” he explains, with a straight face. “That’s what separates this film from other video- game adaptations: the idea that it could be plausibly done in reality. That’s why David Belle [the inventor of parkour, also called freerunning] was hired to come in and to advise and choreograph a lot of the sequences. And when you learn parkour, that’s how the muscles become the muscles. Obviously I also did a lot of cardiovascular work, and there were the semi-daily runs from the set in Morocco to the hotel. At the end of every day I’d put on my running shoes and go for a run. When you’re in the middle of the desert it’s pretty extraordinary.”Another first for this new bikini-waxed, protein-shake-gulping incarnation of Gyllenhaal: a “British” accent. “I had to learn it,” he says. “In fact, I had been intimidated by other roles where I would have had to do a British accent. Some I’ve stayed away from, to be honest, out of respect — I know that culturally it differentiates people in so many ways. As an American, you really can’t tell. I worked with Barbara Berkery [who coached Gwyneth Paltrow for Sliding Doors and RenĂ©e Zellweger for Bridget Jones’s Diary], I listened to tapes, but there was no one specific that I worked on. I wish I could say it was Mick Jagger, but in this case ... no.”Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton in Extra: 'Prince of Persia' Interview (London)

“That was the accent that worked the best, in terms of delivery, wryness, of the comedy in the script,” Gyllenhaal explains, after claiming not to have heard the phrase Mockney. “I tried to steer it a little south, but my dialect coach wouldn’t let me. I just always felt it added a little bit of flair.”
He had lots of time to practise. Three months were spent filming on location and another three working at Pinewood. “I never broke the accent, even when I was on set, because I knew I’d get that cringe factor from the Brits — even though I know the British can be very polite — overly polite, in my opinion. But I really love that, too.”

“I grew up in a family of storytellers,” Gyllenhaal says. “I had parents whose lives were saved and changed by watching movies. That was always the emphasis in my house — what an extraordinary medium movies can be.”
“It’s quite a culture, and I think it’s intimidating in terms of a movie,” he says. “But then again, I’ve played characters who existed in real life, who’ve been to war, worked for the CIA, and, in that sense, it’s interesting that I feel as much pressure to satisfy the gaming world as I would a US Marine.”
Speaking of which: how did America’s Devil Dogs react to Gyllenhaal’s portrayal of a Gulf War antihero in Jarhead? “Definitely a mixed reaction,” he responds, with a quick smile. “Some people really loved it, and ... well, what I appreciate is the flat-out honesty I get from people who were in the service. They come up to me and say, ‘Hey, are you the guy from Jarhead?’ I go, ‘Yeah’. And they go, ‘I didn’t like that movie’.”

He bursts out laughing.
And what about Brokeback Mountain? What does the general public think of that? Thankfully, with the mood lightened, Gyllenhaal seems comfortable returning to the subject of the Oscar-winning movie with one of the most tragic postscripts in modern cinema history. “There was a beauty to that film,” he says, with feeling, “regardless of the jokes poked at it. There was a beauty to it that surpassed all that other stuff.”
