Greg Mottola attends IFP's 19th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York, on November 30, 2009
"Greg Mottola is writing an adaptation of “Important Artifacts” for Paramount Pictures to star Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman.
Natalie Portman as Grace Cahill in "Brothers" (2009).
The novel, actually titled “Important Artifacts and Personal Property From the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion and Jewelry” is a fake auction catalog that chronicles the rise and fall of a four-year relationship. It’s essentially 325 pages of email, notes, pictures, and heirlooms that Mottola will weave into the script, according to THR’s Risky Business blog.
Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine in "Inglorious Basterds" (2009).
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt were a couple in real-life.
Portman and Pitt, rumored to be attached to this since March 2009, will obviously play the couple.
Jesse Eisenberg and Margarita Levieva in "Adventureland" (2009) directed by Greg Mottola.
Hopefully they hire Mottola to direct immediately after he submits the script to Paramount. This is perfect material to take him to the next (and deserved) level. Executives, if you’re reading this, we need more Mottola.Mottola’s next feature is Paul, written by and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz)". Source: www.newsinfilm.com

Prince of Persia - Hassansins Featurette
Jake Gyllenhaal featured in US Weekly. Talking about his role in Prince of Persia he's quoted saying: "In a list of fears of the movie, No. 1 would be ostriches, No. 2 would be the accent, No. 3 would be sword fighting".

Walt Disney Pictures sent us another new featurette for the upcoming Disney film “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” by director Mike Newell (The Elfstones of Shannara, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and starring Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island), Jake Gyllenhaal (Zodiac, Brokeback Mountain) and Gemma Arterton (Clash of the Titans, Quantum of Solace).

"I suppose that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but as far as this beholder is concerned Gemma Arterton is perfect for the role of Princess Tamina, the character that evolved from the prince's companion Farah from the Prince of Persia video games. So the fact that anyone would take the time out of their day to write her a letter telling her otherwise boggles my mind.
According to an interview in the May edition of Details magazine, someone did just that.
"I've gotten letters telling me I'm not right for the part because I don't look like the girl in the video game! She really is this sex goddess. They've got massively high standards." Source: kotaku.com

Robert Pattinson: Kristen Stewart was the Reason to Do Twilight

Robert Pattinson’s Bel Ami character gets married in Budapest — again. Well, this is actually another video clip, showing different angles and moments in the Duroy wedding shoot.
The picture is pretty shaky for most of the clip, becoming only sporadically clearer. Pattinson is shown at the beginning of the clip, all dressed up for Duroy’s wedding. This time, instead of showing him in costume getting out of a black Mercedes, we get to see him getting in the car.

"There may not be a LEGO Prince of Persia video game, yet, but the Prince of Persia video game series is getting its own LEGO set. The set is being launched in conjunction with the new film release of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
The Disney flick stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Prince Dastan, and is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, of Pirates fame. There’s also a rumor going around that this game turned film may actually not suck. Finally!" Source: www.thetanooki.com

Jake Gyllenhaal On being single again:
“It’s…it’s okay…. It goes in either direction. I think it’s important for every man to find the right woman and every woman to find the right man…. Who am I to say what the most important thing in life is? The best answer I could give to any of those things is that I really don’t know. Particularly right now in my life.”
On his parents’ divorce:
“I think it takes a lot of courage for my parents to make the decision that they made, and I I trust both of them and their outlook on life. They’re wonderful parents to me and my sister.”
On his love for his family:
“Family … my family, you know … I love them … whatever they do, whatever they are … I love them … you’re actually going to make me cry…”
A spiritual guy, he has been quoted as saying, “I am not a card-carrying Buddhist, but I do try to practice mindfulness” and it is his goal to meditate every day. His dad Swedish and mom Jewish, his Bar Mitzvah celebration took place at a homeless shelter because his parents wanted to instill in him a sense of gratitude for his privileged lifestyle". "Coinciding with the release of the Jake Gyllenhaal-starring Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie, Ubisoft will be launching a brand new Prince of Persia adventure on just about every console under the sun, including the DS and PSP.
The game ignores all that cel-shaded and colourful-scarf-based nonsense of 2008's Prince of Persia, instead going back to the Arabian Nights, brooding Prince and fistful of time-rewinding sand style of the last generation's Persia games". Source: www.pocketgamer.co.uk

JENNIFER ANISTON and JASON BATEMAN star in THE SWITCH, an offbeat comedy about Kassie, a smart, fun-loving single woman who, despite her slightly neurotic best friend Wally's objections, decides it's time to have a baby--even if it means doing it by herself with a little help from a charming sperm donor (PATRICK WILSON). But, unbeknownst to her, Kassie's plans go awry because of a last-minute switch that isn't discovered until seven years later when Wally finally gets acquainted with Kassie's precocious--though slightly neurotic--son. From the people behind "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Juno" comes THE SWITCH, due in theaters this summer [August 20, 2010].
