Paranormal Signals

Jake Gyllenhaal and Drew Barrymore as Donnie Darko and Karen Pomeroy in "Donnie Darko" (2001).

"On a particular night, Donnie is watching television with his family, and begins to notice wormholes sprouting from the Solar Plexus of nearly everyone in the room, and he follows his, which leads him to his father's bedroom, where he finds a gun in the closet. Donnie becomes convinced that this gun will play a part in his destiny, and takes it for safe keeping.

And the strangest part of all this, is that he is right".

TV Advert: ... for the Middlesex Halloween Haunt...

"There is no distance with Paranormal Activity. Our comfort zone, our sense of superiority, is already depicted (and subverted) in the characters and on the screen. So much of the time we are watching Kate and Micah rewatching what happened while they were sleeping, or researching on the internet a similar case, or examining the audio for signs. Yet despite all this, when the horror does actually happen, we don't know where to look, what's going to happen, or where to retreat". Source: www.aintitcool.com

"Along the way, there was one major change. A weakness of Paranormal Activity was the ending, so Spielberg suggested an alternative. Steven Spielberg and Drew Barrymore at "Whip It" L.A. Premiere, on 29th September 2009.

“People scream and go wild”. Peli says. The Spielberg ending is the one that’s being shown now". Source: www.montrealgazette.com

Drew Barrymore plays Little' Edith Bouvier Beale in HBO tv film "Grey Gardens". Based on the lives that inspired the Maysles Brothers' documentary, this is a drama narrating the story of "Big Edie" Beale (Jessica Lange) and her daughter "Little Edie".(Drew Barrymore) living in a rickety East Hampton mansion.

Amanda Seyfried - "Dear John" & InStyle Photoshoot

"If the brand new trailer -- which, ahem, can be viewed exclusively on Moviefone -- is any indication, the adaptation of Sparks' 2006 novel just might be the next 'Notebook'. It's directed by 'Cider House Rules' Oscar nominee Lasse Hallstrom, and casts two couldn't-be-hotter-right-now young actors, Channing Tatum ('G.I. Joe') andAmanda Seyfried ('Mama Mia'), as star-crossed lovers John and Savannah, who meet and quickly fall for each other one spring while John is on leave from the Army and Savannah is on spring break from college". Prince of Persia movie pitch trailer (2003)

Prince of Persia movie pitch trailer (2003) from jordan mechner on Vimeo.

"You'll find no new images or footage of a glistening, muscled out Jake Gyllenhaal here. What you will find though is Jordan Mechner's machinima trailer used to pitch Prince of Persia to the movie studios. So depending on how you get your jollies, you may want to take your pants back off.

The trailer manages to capture many elements that make the more recent iterations of the game so popular, but doesn't give much of an idea of what we can expect out of the movie other than Jake and Gemma Arterton getting wet and slimy. We can be mostly guaranteed to see some District B13-style parkour as leaving that aspect of the game out would be committing nerd seppuku, but if you watch this trailer you'll see saw blades grinding out of the walls, spinning barbed pillars, and pits of spikes popping up out of the floors. I mean who owns this place? What if he woke up in the middle of the night and had to pee? He's all disoriented and night blind, he's bound set off some sort of death device that he's planted to keep out his enemies. Sir Ben Kingsley would never put himself in such danger, he's a knight for Christ's sake".
