The Girl Next Door (Unrated Edition) - Blu-ray Review:
"Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch) is a straight-arrow over-acheiver who has never really lived life, until he falls for his new neighbour, the beautiful and semmingly innocent Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). When Matthew discovers this perfect "girl next door" is a one-time porn star his sheltered existence begins to spin out of control. Ultimately, Danielle helps Matthew emerge from his shell and discover that sometimes you have to risk everything for the person.I’ve always been a fan of Luke Greenfield’s ‘The Girl Next Door’. The affable performances from the pic leads Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert balance out the bawdiness nicely and it’s smarter than the cover would lead you to believe. Matthew Kidman (Hirsch) whose student council president existence is resulting in little adventures to write down in his yearbook remembrance section. He soon finds out that Danielle isn’t so innocent when porn-obsessed friend Eli (Chris Marquette) crushes his world in one fell swoop i.e. a push of the play button. At first, he’s a bit rattled but after a disastrous attempt to treat her like a porn star, he vows to again treat her like the girl next door.Too late – the porn career she left behind comes back to find her with the very pimp-like porn producer Kelly (Timothy Olyphant) showing up to reclaim her property.Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert make endearing leads with Hirsch showing some of that flair he will later bring to pics as varying as ‘Into the Wild’ and ‘Milk’ to ‘Speed Racer’.Paul Dano and Chris Marquette providing the requisite nerdy friends with Paul Dano, of course, going on to be terrific as the preacher in ‘There Will Be Blood’.The AVC 1080p transfer is simply okay with a moderate amount of grain but very little in the way of HD flash – color and detail is often muted and while it’s a step up from the DVD, the difference is marginal. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track is a bit better mainly because of the constant stream of great songs. ‘The Eli Experience’, a short prank vid shot at the adult film expo shown in the film, ‘A Look Next Door’, a quick making of with various interviews from cast and crew, a short ‘Gag Reel’, ten minutes of ‘Deleted and Extended Scenes’, and finally scene specific commentaries from Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert where they offer up some comments on a few scenes". Pilar Festivity in Zaragoza
Tomorrow 12th October it's Holidays in Spain and particularly in my hometown, Aragon's capital city: Zaragoza. There will be a collective "ofrenda", fireworks, parades, live music concerts, etc. I cannot enjoy the festivity as I'd like, having my living schedule in Tarragona but it's a beautiful that keeps growing and extending over its limits: Ribera del Río Ebro.Plaza de Lucas Miret.La Aljafería Castle.
Pabellón Puente Expo Zaragoza.La Granja Park, San José district.Paseo de la Independencia, Zaragoza.Fireworks over Puente de Piedra & Basílica del Pilar.

"One of the big sequels fandom has been waiting for is “Sin City 2”.And according to Jamie King, who I spoke with today at the press junket for “My Bloody Valentine 3D”, maybe everyone involved did have that intention. But for whatever reason…they couldn’t all agree on what direction the sequel should go in. Jamie says Frank Miller has finally finished the script for the sequel and she hopes to be making it this year.
Collider: Do you think Sin City 2 is ever going to happen?
Jamie: Yeah. Frank just finished the script. I was with him the other night. He just finished it and the thing is…I think when Sin City came out it was such a big hit for the studio but the studio is frustrating…sometimes studios are awesome because they have a great vision for something, but then they want to do weird things with the second one. Robert didn’t want to go down that route, so we’ve just be waiting till somebody knocked some sense into them, where we can do it the way we want to do it".

Loss of Moustache
Emile Hirsch sporting a moustache at VH1's 14th Critics Choice Awards, on 8th January, 2009, Santa Monica.
"If you didn't know anything about Steven Soderbergh’s “The Informant!” which opened last month, you could at least deduce from the poster that it was a comedy. Just above Matt Damon’s popped-open mouth sits a large brown mustache. It looks like a caterpillar. Even if “The Informant!” were the most serious movie ever made, that mustache would be funny. When Jake Gyllenhaal shows up in the latter half of “Brokeback Mountain” in a mustache, he’s trying to wear it for real. He’s supposed to be a cowboy. But every time I saw the movie, the audience laughed. Gyllenhaal was a metrosexual in mustache drag, and they knew it.
This is, sadly, our loss. Without the mustache, we’ve lost a whole language of facial hair - the sleek pencil mustache, the villainous curl". Source: www.boston.com

"Jacob and Bella are having a discussion of some sort. Taylor looks like a miniature “Incredible Hulk” as he’s sporting no shirt, baring all of his rippling new muscles. Kristen is wearing tight jeans and a long sleeve shirt. In “Twilight Saga: New Moon” Jacob helps pull Bella out of a deep depression that she has over Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), leaving her to go to Italy. Later on in the film, she rushes back to Italy to stop Edward from killing himself because he thinks Bella is dead.

While there, Bella finds out who the Volturi vampire clan are, in nasty way. The drama really heats up in this film, accompanied by awesome fight scenes between Edward and the Volturi vampire clan". Source: ontheflix.com
