"Reese Witherspoon poses next to her character Susan Murphy (Ginormica) in the upcoming animated flick, Monsters vs. Aliens.
Ginormica was once hit by a meteor filled with a strange substance that mutated her DNA, causing her to grow 49 feet 11 inches tall. Monsters vs. Aliens opens in theaters March 27.
Also pictured: Seth Rogen (B.O.B.), Will Arnett (The Missing Link), Hugh Laurie (Dr. Cockroach), Rainn Wilson (Galaxhar) and Paul Rudd (Derek Dietl). I love looking at these promos and comparing the actors with their monster/alien counterparts".

Emile Hirsch: Happy 24th Birthday!
A video dedicated to Emile Hirsch, featuring some close-ups and images from "The Mudge Boy", "The girl next door", "Alpha Dog", "Into the wild", etc.
Happy 24th birthday, Emile!!
Also today is the 33th birthday of one of Emile's buddies, Danny Masterson, actor ("That '70s Show", "Yes, Man", etc.), DJ (he's DJ Momjeans) and Bijou Phillips's boyfriend. Here are the three of them at the Cobrasnake Club in the pic below:
Jake, Reese and Kiefer Sutherland
Kiefer Sutherland and Reese Witherspoon in "Freeway" (1996)."Freeway" updates an old fairy tale and the story's antiheroine Vanessa Lutz is the edgiest role Reese Witherspoon has ever played:
"In "Freeway" the underdog is queen of the kittens. The first scene shows Vanessa in remedial reading class puzzling out the sentence "The cat drinks milk." At the end, having outwitted everyone without ever apologizing for herself, she grins as if she's swallowed every drop. The surprises this Little Red Riding Hood pulls out of her goodie bag can damn near knock you flat, even as you're grinning right back at her". Source: www.salon.com

Nikki Reed won't dye her hair for 'New Moon'
"Now, as the cast heads into "New Moon" and "Eclipse" back-to-back (and "Breaking Dawn" likely to film after those), Reed said they're hoping to streamline the process.
"We all had hours of hair and makeup in the morning, and then when we showed up on set, it was raining," she remembered of her experiences filming the first "Twilight" flick, which hits DVD March 21. "And because we are vampires, we can't shoot in the sun! So, we were always shooting when it was cloudy, and then there was hail, and the makeup was pouring off. It was an experimental process — now, I think, we are more prepared."
But what will this mean for the fans? Reed said the die-hards might notice some of the changes — like her plan to wear a wig this time rather than dye her hair again. "My hair fell out", she winced. "It took 36 hours initially to make me blond, and every other day, I was bleaching my head and my skin. This time around, we are testing out different wigs and stuff."
Before the Twilighters start judging the change, however, Reed wanted to point out one thing: The franchise stars went above-and-beyond to make their original hairdos work. "I really wanted the fans to understand that I was dedicated, and I was going to do whatever I needed to do, even at the expense of going bald," said the 20-year-old, who hopes to squeeze in the film "K-11" with Kristen Stewart between the "Twilight" sequels. "But it was such a brutal process, plus we have a break in between where I have a couple of other projects. And then I go back to Rosalie. So I don't think I'm bleaching my hair this time. I know how upset everyone is going to be, but [my devotion to Rosalie] is why I did it initially.
"The goal is for something better, just better, all around better," she said of Weitz's upcoming attempt to give the Cullens an extreme makeover. "I think we are always striving to better ourselves. And the fact that we are all vampires in the first place ... of course we are going to look unnatural".

Jake & Reese visiting the Prado Museum
Cute couple Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal visit the art exhibits at Museo Nacional del Prado (Prado Museum) in Madrid, Spain on Thursday (March 12).
According to Wiki, Prado features one of the world’s finest collections of European art, from the 12th century to the early 19th century, based on the former Spanish Royal Collection
Reese, 32, and Jake, 28, must have checked out the current exhibition at the museum, Entre Dioses Y Hombres (Among Gods and Men).

As Spaniard, I'm proud of Jake and Reese visiting our magnificent Museo del Prado in the Spanish capital city. I only have been at the Prado Museum twice, but it's a very rewarding experience. totally recommended it to you and the occasional tourists who travel to Madrid. You will be able to admire the classic painting creations of El Greco, El Bosco, Francisco Goya, Diego Velázquez, Rembrandt, Rubens, Flemish XVI century painters as Van Dyck, Barend van Orleye, Bruegel the Elder, Reymerswaele, Van Hemessen and many more.

"The man who walked between the towers" DVD
"I’m talking about Philippe Petit, the man who inspired the film “Man on Wire”, the guy who, in 1974, walked a high wire strung between the twin towers of the World Trade Center.
Such an unlikely happening…. such an inspiring, brave story. Why not share it with your children on a level they can understand and that would be entertaining and exciting for them, as well? Scholastic debuted this story, The Man Who Walked Between the Towers, along with three other fascinating tales on one inspiring DVD.
The story of Petit’s accomplishment that morning was written into a children’s story by Mordicai Gerstein and animated beautifully (in Scholastic’s classic way) by Michael Sporn. Jake Gyllenhaal narrates this daredevil tale, and it will truly leave you breathless, as if you were standing beneath Petit as he performed this daring act years ago". Source: www.musesofmegret.com

Body language signs
"Without even thinking about it, women almost always give physical tips that convey their level of interest in a man. The most common body language gestures that reveal at least minimal interest are hair twirling, hair tossing and leg crossing. When a woman tosses her hair, it comes across as a nervous gesture. What it tells the man is, he's making her a bit nervous. And to his mind, if she's nervous, she must be interested!
On the other hand, hair tossing, like leg crossing, is also a preening gesture. It's a way of calling attention or showing off a gorgeous, glossy mane (very sexy) or a terrific pair of gams (ditto, also very sexy!). But there are many other elemental gestures and basic postures that send a strong message to another person, all of which can be used to good effect"
