Buying lady underwear?

"Jake Gyllenhaal reportedly did a runner from Marks And Spencer's last week, after being spotted buying ladies underwear.

We can only assume the pants in question were for his gorgeous actress girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon otherwise Jake may find himself answering some tricky questions!

According to The Sun, the actor went to pay for the underwear at the back of the shop, but was told he'd have to go to the main tills instead.

Rather than face the onslaught of curious women, he instead put the lingerie down and legged it out of the store!

A shopper commented to The Sun: "He was putting the underwear into his plastic basket.

"When he was told to use the main tills he realised he'd been spotted, dumped everything and made a speedy run for it! It was very funny."

More wedding rumours

JAKE GYLLENHAAL could be set to wed his girlfriend REESE WITHERSPOON if their friend's suspicions are anything to go by.

The supercute couple are totally smitten and were recently spotted ring shopping at New York's Fred Leighton jewellery store, and according to Jake's Nailed co-star, actress MALINDA WILLIAMS, the couple will be Mr and Mrs Gyllenhaal soon.

She tells Life & Style magazine, "I wouldn't be surprised if they get married soon. Reese was on the set a lot. She and Jake are clearly in love.

"They're like two regular, down-home people. They seem very comfortable around each other... It's like they've been together for a really long time - like an old married couple."

"The curious case of Benjamin Button" & "Zodiac" clips

"Scott Feinberg at The Envelope has created a list of his “The top 25 movies of the past 10 years that got no Oscar love” and it’s an interesting idea considering there has been so much hatred aimed at the Academy over The Dark Knight not getting a Best Picture nomination, but it did actually receive eight nominations, which is nothing to scoff at. We are talking about films that didn’t receive any nominations, zero, zilch, nada. Any come to mind?

I had never considered the idea since it is a relatively hard thing to imagine that a favorite film of yours didn’t receive any Oscar nominations — wait, is that why general audiences aren’t interested in the Oscars? — but then I went back over my 2003-2008 Top Ten lists and found several that weren’t nominated and put together a quick top ten and an example category I think they should have been nominated in.
1. Zodiac [2007] (Director, David Fincher)
2. Ballast [2008] (Film Editing)
3. 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days [2008] (Director, Cristian Mungiu)
4. I’ve Loved You So Long [2008] (Supporting Actress, Elsa Zylberstein)
5. Inside Man [2006] (Original Screenplay, Russell Gewirtz) 6. Jarhead [2005] (Cinematography, Roger Deakins)
7. The Edge of Heaven [2008] (Foreign Language Film)
8. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang [2005] (Adapted Screenplay, Shane Black)
9. Things We Lost in the Fire [2007] (Actress, Halle Berry)
10. Spanglish [2004] (Original Screenplay, James L. Brooks)

"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" was nominated for 13 Oscars and 11 BAFTAs, and won three Oscar Awards: Best Achievement in Art Direction, Best Achievement in Makeup and Best Achievement in Visual Effects, comforting director David Fincher for the way that Zodiac was generally overlooked. "The story is that of the eponymous Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) who is born old and ages backwards throughout his life. Raised in an old folks' home, Benjamin at first doesn't realise that he's different from everyone else - as you can see in the first clip, with a five (or so) year-old Button getting up to gentle mischief that his adoptive mother Queenie (Taraji P. Henson) has to watch out for. Along the way he falls in love with a girl called Daisy (Cate Blanchett).

"NOBODY ELSE WILL" CLIP FROM "ZODIAC":

JAKE GYLLENHAAL INTERVIEW FOR "ZODIAC":

New Affiliate: Amanda Seyfried Source

We have a new affiliate here in Weirdland, with Amanda Seyfried Source, one of the main sites dedicated to this rising beautiful star, Jake Weird is added in Miscellanea sites, thank you very much, Mycah and keep your good work up!

"Since Channing Tatum’s romantic drama ‘Dear John‘ tops the list of upcoming movies that CTU readers are most excited to see, I’m sure many of you will also be excited to check out the first promotional photo from Screen Gems courtesy of a new USA Today article.

We do learn one other important tidbit from the article that I’m not sure fans will be quite as happy about…Previously, I reported that ‘Dear John‘ may be released in early 2010 instead of late 2009, because both Channing Tatum and his love interest in the film, Amanda Seyfried of ‘Mamma Mia!’, already had a large number of films coming out this year.

Although the reason for the move is not mentioned, USA Today is now confirming the change in release date. I’m sorry to say, but fans will have to wait until 2010 to see ‘Dear John‘ hit theaters".
