Emile Hirsch birthday Project
"So here’s the deal: Emile’s birthday is on March 13th, and we all wanted to do something special for him this year. We are going to be creating a fan scrapbook and sending it to him! So we are asking you, if you have any messages, or videos, graphics or photos, to send them in so that we can create the ultimate scrapbook. You have until March 1st, which is when I will be collecting all of the information and submissions to create the scrapbook". To send Emile a message you can click the image above or here.

Pics and articles of "Twilight"
"Primarily, though, what has captured the hearts of teenagers is the romance at its bloody heart between Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and fellow pupil, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), one of a family of vampires who have learnt to control their bloodlust. "I think at its core, it's very much like Romeo and Juliet", adds Hardwicke. "It's the young lovers, with this super-passionate bond that they have. They'll go against their families. They'll go against everything."Though as Hardwicke notes, Edward has one further problem that Romeo never faced. "If they get too passionate, he'll want to kill her ... we don't even know how much they can kiss or whether he can even stand next to her."
Certainly, when I saw the film on its opening day in LA the teenage girls sitting in my row ("Twi-hards" as they're called) were literally gasping when Bella and Edward head towards that first – possibly fatal – kiss. According to Hardwicke, this is no surprise. "Vampires are the sexiest of creatures – they're not like a gross zombie or mummy. You don't want to be kissed by a mummy!" Source: www.independent.co.uk
"Indeed the young British actor Robert Pattinson, who plays our hunky vampire, recently discussed these themes in an interview with the Telegraph.
He said teenaged girls get hysterical about the film because his character is 'unthreateningly sexual' so they are able to lust after him in the safety of their own homes/cinemas.
And what's wrong with that? Surely it's preferable to a nasty hero that goes around having sex and then sucking the blood out of every girl he finds, and then making it seem cool?

Michael Cera's fake meltdown
Check out this parody-video in which actor Michael Cera flips out on the set of Youth in Revolt in full "Christian Bale" mode. By the way, Mr. Bale apologized for being a pottymouth on the set of "Terminator Salvation"
They want Robert Pattinson naked
"You guys really voted Robert Pattinson as the stud you'd most like to see naked. Johnny Depp wasn't even a close second! So that only means one thing: It has to happen, and we'll try to help you fulfill your nudie dreams. You see a smidgen of the guy in Little Ashes, but that's hardly enough.See, Patty-boy's probably going to have to pull a Jake Gyllenhaal or a Tom Hanks or a Sean Penn and play gay to get any real recognition, so why not throw the nude scenes in with it and satisfy everybody? R.P. should play the limo driver, and George Clooney (Soderbergh's right-hand, go-to guy) should play Liberace. I mean, even though Michael Douglas is already rumored to take the lead part, we're so over his flabby ass and want to see George's instead. With Bobby's, too! How 'bout it, Robert? Game?" "Brockeback Mountain" Blu-ray, "Milk" DVD
"Two critically-acclaimed, gay-focused films from Universal Studios Home Entertainment will debut on Blu-ray March 10. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN arrives for the first time on high-definition Blu-ray, along with the new powerful drama MILK, which will also be available on DVD in additional to Blu-ray.
Brokeback Mountain (2005), won Academy Awards for Ang Lee (Best Director), Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana (Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay), and Gustavo Santaolalla (Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score).
Milk (2008), starring Academy Award winning actor Sean Penn (Best Actor performance for Mystic River), is one of the leading Oscar contenders for the upcoming 81st Academy Awards, having received eight nominations:
Best Picture, MILK (Dan Jinks, Bruce Cohen producers)
Best Director, Gus Van Sant
Best Actor, Sean Penn
Best Supporting Actor, Josh Brolin
Best Original Screenplay, Dustin Lance Black
Best Costume Design, Danny Glicker
Best Editing, Elliot Graham
Best Original Score, Danny Elfman
Note: MILK is Sean Penn's fifth nomination for Best Actor.
With vitalizing support from Scott and from new friends like young activist Cleve Jones (Emile Hirsch), Milk plunges headfirst into the choppy waters of politics. Bolstering his public profile with humor, Milk's actions speak even louder than his gift-of-gab words.
When Milk is elected supervisor for the newly zoned District 5, he tries to coordinate his efforts with those of another newly elected supervisor, Dan White (Josh Brolin). But as White and Milk's political agendas increasingly diverge, their personal destinies tragically converge.
Milk's platform was and is one of hope – a hero's legacy that resonates in the here and now.
MILK features an outstanding all-star cast, including Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch, Diego Luna, James Franco, Victor Garber and young rising star Alison Pill. The film's original score is by Danny Elfman. The costume designer is Danny Glicker and Elliot Graham edited the film. The production designer is Bill Groom and the film's director of photography is Harris Savides, A.S.C.
MILK arrives on DVD and Blu-ray March 10 from Universal Studios.
BONUS FEATURES include: (both DVD & Blu-ray)
• Deleted Scenes
• Remembering Harvey

S. Darko, straight to DVD, poster and trailer
"The unlikely sequel to the cult classic Donnie Darko revolving around his sister Samantha has been appropriately named S. Darko will not be released in theaters. Instead it will be released direct to DVD
/Film reports:
Do you remember S. Darko, the Donnie Darko spin-off film we wrote about a while back? You know, the one which follows Donnie’s sister and features no involvement from the original director Richard Kelly? Yeah, that one. The good news is that the film will not play theatrically and will instead go direct-to-dvd on April 28th from MGM’s home entertainment.
Negative buzz can kill a movie before it gets out the gate and I think S. Darko was already behind the 8ball with the cult following Donnie Darko has. A trailer will be released at the New York Comic Con.
Shoving a film to the second class release of direct to dvd doesn’t bode well for the studio’s confidence in the project, but at very least they didn’t want to can it completely so I will wait to see if someone reviews this (or maybe pick it up myself out of morbid curiosity) before I jump to conclusions and burn it in effigy".
