BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb 3, 2009- U.S. actress Jessica Biel has agreed to be the host of the upcoming Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Scientific and Technical Awards.
The event is to take place Saturday at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, Calif. Biel will next be seen in "Easy Virtue," a feature opening in May in which she stars opposite Colin Firth and Kristen Scott Thomas. She recently completed "Nailed" with Jake Gyllenhaal, James Marsden and Catherine Keener, and her other credits include roles in "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry," "The Illusionist" and "Elizabethtown." "You may remember that Christian Bale went nuts on the set of "Terminator Salvation" a few months back, threatening to stop production and beat some serious ass.
The incident was audiotaped, and it's amazing. It happened on the set after a director of photography accidentally ruined a scene by walking onto the set. Bale lost it, screaming, yelling and threatening to quit if the bosses didn't fire the dude.
