With Robert Downey Jr. at Ojai

"Jake Gyllenhaal and Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. share a laugh together as they walk the hiking trails of Ojai, Calif., on Friday (December 26). The pair costarred in the 2007 David Fincher-directed crime thriller Zodiac.

Jake, 28, brought along his lady love Reese Witherspoon, 32, while RDJ, 43, had his wife Susan.
The Downeys stayed for dinner and slept over Reese’s beautiful Ojai estate. The following day, Jake and Reese went shopping together. Reese helped Jake shop for socks. Jake picked up some power tools, including a wireless drill and some drill bits".

Teenage sex crisis 'due to drink and drugs'

"Kate Hudson has stated the obvious - that she doesn’t believe monogamy is a natural human trait.

Kate who has been married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, dated Owen Wilson on and off and has some more boyfriends in between says that she finds it hard to stay faithful, because she is “ruled by sexual energy.”

She says, “I got into this very controversial discussion once. I was married at the time and I was asked, ‘Do you think monogamy is possible?’ And I said, ‘No, I don’t think we are made to be monogamous, we are animals’.

"Teenagers are in the grip of a sexual health crisis fuelled by a "celebrity culture" that condones alcohol abuse, drug addiction and promiscuity [...]
A daily diet of celebrities in sexualised poses, taking drugs and getting drunk has led to increasing numbers of children "defining their lifestyle" around drugs, alcohol and sex in their early teens, with Britain now having the highest rate of teenage pregnancies and sexual infections in Europe, they say.
Her group's report said young people were exposed to conflicting messages, with "explicit or subliminal" advertising and coverage of "celebrity" behaviour being prevalent, while other information was restricted". Source: www.telegraph.co.uk

Ryan Gosling and his band Dead Man's Bones

In The Room Where You Sleep (live video version)

Ryan Gosling has been hard at work in LA recently, only it's not on the set of any movie. Instead, Ryan and a friend started a band called Dead Man's Bones and here is their first music video. It's a far cry from the bubble gum pop that most actors-turned-musicians release, but it might not appeal to all The Notebook fans out there. Check out the music video for their first single "In The Room Where You Sleep"

I'm already friends with Ryan's band in Myspace, add them as friends and listen to their songs in Dead Man's Bones Myspace.

"The Dark Knight" not released in China

"Batman landed in Hong Kong but that doesn't mean "The Dark Knight" will open all over China.

The movie opened in Hong Kong theaters. But Warner Bros. decided not to release the film in mainland China _ or even submit it for censors' approval _ because of "prerelease conditions" and "cultural sensitivities", the studio said Tuesday.

Warner Bros. officials may have been concerned the film _ particularly scenes shot in Hong Kong, where Batman nabs a gangster _ would offend censors. Hong Kong is a Chinese-ruled former British colony that maintains separate political and economic systems.

Another possible sticking point is a brief appearance by Hong Kong actor-singer Edison Chen, who appeared in lurid photos with several women this year.

Bootleg copies have been available in Chinese markets for months". Source: www.huffingtonpost.com
