Batman memorabilia
"Reese Witherspoon's son given Batman memorabilia by Jake Gyllenhaal's sister.
Reese asked boyfriend Jake to see if his sister Maggie could get any memorabilia from the set of new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight', for her four-year-old son Deacon. Deacon - Reese's son from her marriage to Ryan Phillippe - was said to be "thrilled" by the action figures and copy of the script Maggie got for him.
A friend of Reese said: "Deacon is quite the Batman fan. Deacon has been waiting for 'The Dark Knight' to come out, although Reese was worried that it was too dark for him to watch at his age. "He was thrilled with Maggie's presents."

"Reese Witherspoon has reportedly come up with a set of house rules that boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal must follow.
The Brokeback Mountain actor moved into Witherspoon's Los Angeles home last month and according to Star, the actress insisted on composing a series of strict rules for her boyfriend.
An insider said: "Reese believes in wide-open communication, and she discussed at length with him what is best for her household.
"Some of [the things she insists on] are run-of-the-mill. He has to take off his shoes when he's in the house; trash must be taken out when the can is three-quarters full; and no feet on the coffee table."
The source added that Witherspoon has clamped down on Gyllenhaal's swearing: "Jake used to swear like a sailor, but not anymore. If he does, he has to apologise."

Disney pushes Prince of Persia back
"Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have pushed back the release of fantasy actioner "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" by nearly a year, from June 19, 2009, to Memorial Day weekend 2010.
Officially, Disney said it wants to allow plenty of time for post-production considering that the tentpole will require extensive special effects to create its fantasy world and setpieces.
In addition, however, the move takes "Prince of Persia" out of the path of "Transformers 2," which DreamWorks and Paramount open on June 26, 2009.
Filmmaker Mike Newell began lensing the pic last week in Morocco and will remain there until the production moves to London.
Decision to delay the release by a year caught some by surprise, although the calendar could continue to see major reshufflings because of the ongoing labor strife in Hollywood. Studios may want to allow for extra cushion in case of any production delays.
Bruckheimer and Disney don’t want to take any chances with "Prince of Persia," which they are hoping turns into a mega-franchise, along the lines of "Pirates of the Caribbean," that can feed the entire Disney empire, from sequels to potential TV or direct-to-DVD spinoffs, merchandise and Disney theme-park attractions.
Pic, based on Ubisoft’s bestselling vidgame, toplines Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina.
In its new date, "Prince of Persia" opens a week after the release of "Shrek Goes Fourth."
Disney isn’t relinquishing the June 19-21, 2009, weekend completely".

"Prince of Persia" delay
"Not content to let one of their potential blockbusters get crushed by giant, transforming robots, Disney has decided to push PRINCE OF PERSIA back a full year to Memorial Day 2010. The movie was originally scheduled for release on June 19, 2009, one week before TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN would unleash its LaBeoufness on the world. The on-the-record reason for pushing PERSIA back was to "allow plenty of time for post-production" and an "extra cushion" in case of SAG delays. (I've heard car salesman with better bullshit lines than that.) Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer feel they could have a PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN success with PERSIA and want to make sure it's the idea conditions for a release. Strangely their new date still puts them in one week's proximity to another franchise juggernaut - SHREK GOES FOURTH. PERSIA, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Alfred Molina and Gemma Arterton, just began filming this week in Morocco".
