Kirsten Dunst & Emile Hirsch: Upside Down

"Studio 37 also has announced ongoing negotiations with Kirsten Dunstand Emile Hirsch to co-star in Juan Solonas' English-language title "Upside Down" co-produced with Onyx Films.

Studio 37 will be focusing more and more on animated titles, with Marathon's "Totally Spies" franchise, this year's Festival de Cannes Director's Fortnight title "Round Da Way," and Antoine Charreyon's 3-D animated motion capture film "Prodigies" co-produced with Onyx Films and Fidelite Films and set for a second semester 2010 release. "We're really looking for new forms of audiovisual writing", Dumas said, but added: "We're not looking to do what the Americans can do better."

"Look up towards the sky and rub your eyes because you won’t believe what you see: cities, forests, and oceans with their own inverted gravity, only an arm’s length away, yet completely unreachable. Take a leap over to this alternate reality, two worlds – one above, one below‐ facing each other, and you’ll land in the extraordinary world of Upside Down, the new ground‐breaking film of Juan Solanas, the director of the innovative Cannes and César‐prized short film The Man Without A Head and heartbreaking 2005 Cannes film Nordeste.

SYNOPSIS Adam is a seemingly ordinary guy in a very extraordinary universe. He lives humbly trying to make ends meet, but his romantic spirit holds on to the memory of a girl he met once upon a time from another world, an inverted affluent world with its own gravity, directly above but beyond reach… a girl named Eve. Their childhood flirtation becomes an impossible love. But when he catches a glimpse of grown‐up Eve on television, nothing will get in the way of getting her bak… Not even the law or science!

This news really rings my chimes, because being Kirsten my oldest movie crush-girl and Emile one of my most recent flames, the possibility of seeing both of them together in a story makes it so special and I think they would be a kick-ass couple; for my tastes, whereas some of the on-screen couples of Kirsten have been very flattering as Tobey Maguire or Josh Hartnett, in others as with Orlando Bloom in "Elizabethtown" or even with Jason Schwartzman in "Marie Antoinette" could have come off as a bit too light, I think Emile's sensuality would make that up if they are chosen as the lead characters; it's not officially confirmed yet.
Why would Emile and Kirsten be a good coupling?

First, both have elegance and "porte" on their appearances in events, premieres, etc.:
Their unbeatable childish smiles melt me everytime:
Both look very cute wearing glasses:
Both smoke, I think Kirsten more frequently than Emile (he does it off/on):

Both are monkey-friendly:
and in the gossip section, curiously last year Kirsten was rumoured interested in chasing Emile:

"Page Six is quick to point out that the Spider-Man actress also has a thing for the undeniable hotness that is Emile Hirsch." Source: socialitelife.celebuzz.com

"WATCH out, Emile Hirsch - Kirsten Dunst has her eye on you. Our spy saw the rehabbed starlet smoking cigarettes outside the Bowery Hotel and told us, "Kirsten was there just to see Emile." After she finished her cig, the source said, Kirsten followed the press-shy actor to club Bowery Electric next door. "She was all alone," our snitch said. "She was going to the bar just to see him." Source: www.nypost.com

Well, in my opinion Kirsten doesn't need to chase any guy (although completely understandable if the subject in question is Emile), more the other way around, and while I'll cross my fingers in order to this project being made, it's a major pet peeve not having been able to see Jake and Kirsten together in some film.

Megan Fox talks about Transformers 2

Megan Fox & Shia LaBeouf stop for some morning coffee on 28th May, 2009 before Megan fox headed to LAX airport that day.

"Megan Fox totally agrees. In an interview in Total Film, she said of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: "I don't know if this movie's about the story. I don't know if anyone's going in and trying to analyse the story and if they are, then f*ck them for trying!

"We're not trying. We're not pretending this is a story-driven film. It is what it is. Everybody just shut the f*ck up and go have fun. It's not meant to change your life. If you don't want to see it, then don't f*cking go and pay for it. Stay home!"

Of her character's involvement with Sam (Shia LaBeouf), she added: "It's two years later in our relationship and it's time for him to go to college. Mikaela can't afford college so has to work on bikes and earn money.
"But Sam gets in trouble at college with some Transformers and I have to come and help him get out of a sticky situation."

Megan Fox is also in the Warner Bros adaptation of Jonah Hex, a DC Comics book about a disfigured gunslinger. She is pictured here in an image from the set of that film.

Of that movie she said: "Jonah Hex is a post-Civil War apocalyptic type of situation about this cowboy [Josh Brolin] who has the ability to talk to dead people.

"He's a really crazy, badass, rugged, rough, f*cker of a man and it's a really intense movie because of the people who are in it. Michael Fassbender, Michael Shannon, Josh Brolin, John Malkovich. And then me! I don't ever feel I've been more lucky to be a part of something."
She also spoke about Fathom, a comic book adaptation in which she is set to star as a marine biologist called Aspen who discovers she belongs to an aquatic race with the power to control water.

She said of the film: "I have a fair amount of creative involvement in that movie and I don't want it to be made for anyone else but the fans. It was my favourite comic book."

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is out in the UK on June 19 and in the USA on June 24. Jonah Hex is released on August 6, 2010".

‘G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra’ Clip

A Glimpse Of The ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra’ Clip Premiering At This Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards.

"Twilight" casting, now stars

"One year ago, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and a handful of other “Twilight” stars arrived at the MTV Movie Awards and walked down the red carpet, with most of the world’s press uninterested in speaking with them.
This Sunday night, Rob, Kristen, Kellan, Ashley, Cam, Taylor and others will return to Universal’s Gibson Amphitheatre triumphantly, leading the evening’s attendees with seven nominations. And when director Catherine Hardwicke recently showed us around her Venice home where it all began, she marveled at the difference 12 months can make.Hardwicke has a seat on the aisle, stage right. And she’s ready to do a lot of jumping up and down and shrieking if “Twilight” continues its rags-to-riches story at the MTV Movie Awards. “I think it’s going to be different,” she said of the reception she expects for stars like Pattinson on this year’s red carpet. “Most people, now, know who Robert is. He’s been at the top of the Star Meter on IMdB for a year now — he’s really blown up big.”Hardwicke grinned, she’s looking forward to hearing the possible acceptance speech of Breakthrough Performance nominee Pattinson. “If anyone has dealt with it well, [it’s Robert]. He hasn’t gotten a big head — he takes it with a grain of salt. He sees the absurdity and the humor in it,” she explained. “He’s great with that self-effacing Brit-thing; it’s awesome.”
