"One Day" starring Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway, trailer and pics

Based on the best-seller by David Nicholls, the story follows a young man and woman on one day a year, for twenty years, after they share a one-night stand at university. The cast is rounded out by Patricia Clarkson, Ken Stott, Romola Garai and Rafe Spall. Danish helmer Lone Scherfig, who made a major breakthrough with her last film, the Oscar-nominated “An Education,” directs. Official trailer for Focus Features new romantic drama "One Day" starring Jim Sturgess (as Dexter) and Anne Hathaway (as Emma), directed by Academy Award nominated director of "An Education," Lone Scherfig; due in U.S. theaters on July 8 and in the U.K. on September 30. Synopsis: The story charts the extraordinary relationship of Emma and Dexter, who meet on the night of their college graduation -- July 15, 1988. She is a working-class girl of principle and ambition who dreams of making the world a better place. He is a wealthy charmer who dreams that the world will be his playground. For the next two decades, every July 15 reveals to us how "Em" and "Dex" are faring, as their friendship ebbs and flows with the passing of the years. Jim Sturgess is interviewed prior to the release of Peter Weir's THE WAY BACK in Poland. Jim talks about recreating the horror of Soviet labor camps and acting within the treacherous conditions of freezing cold and blistering heat.
