    There's nothing more exciting than
a picture of "Jack on his back" with that hungry look in his big blue eyes!

  2. I might approve of her for Jake.

Yes, Dani, there were good sparks between them.

did anyone see devil wears prada?
It's the adaptation of Lauren Weisberger novel "The Devil wears Prada" and it's a satire about the Fashion world, centered around Meryl Streep's character the ruthless Miranda Priestly, the character Anne plays is one young assistant of the "Runway magazine" whose Miranda runs as editor. The movie premise is interesting because there is a temptation narcissist world that threatens Andy Sachs (Anne H)ethics and it reminded me a little of "The Devil's Advocate". I think the main characters (M Streep, Anne H and Emily Blunt) are well drawn and the script (if naïve at moments) sharp and multiple referential to celebrity couture circles -the book's author (who actually worked as an assistant to 'Vogue' editor Anna Wintour)shares credits in the screenplay.

^^I agree, Roconner, Welcome to Weirdland!

  3. I suppose, Simon, that despite of Jack being a gay rodeo guy, that vision of Lureen's goodies turned him on!

I think Anne is quite a beauty - and a very natural kind of beauty at that. I remember some people saying she seemed to be an airhead after they saw her on Oprah in January but I think she was just giggly and a little nervous.
Just some of the many credits to her name: being nominated for the 'Rising Star Award' when she was still in High School and being the first and only teenager ever accepted for the intensive training program of the Barrow Group in New York.
I also remember someone at DC's forum who attented the presentation of the Equality Award to Ang Lee in February at the Human Rights Campaign gala in NY City saying that Anne gave a long, delightful, entertaining speech at the ceremony.
So perhaps not such an airhead after all...

  6. Penny, I think you nailed it about Anne. She's one of the not very numerous group of non-airheads actresses, imo, I didn't know that story of the Barrow Group, but I admire her sincerity admitting slight drug consumption during her teens and how she joined Nicaraguan Hepatitis A Program

and we want some more! ;)
Jacknasty, guess what, a next Anne/Jake post will be soon!
