But after allegations that her footie ace hubby Ashely had cheated on her saw her jett off to L.A, alarm bells started ringing when organisers were told she couldn't guarantee that she would be able to make the glamour event.

Undeteered they were apparently still hoping to crown Cheryl Woman Of The Year right up until the show started. But when it became clear that Cheryl , who arrived back in the UK from L.A. this afternoon, wasn’t going to make it, they put Plan B into action and turned to 19 year-old Kristen, who was in town for the BAFTAs, instead.
