Rendition & Anniversary

Pictures from IHJ of Jake and last one with Reese Witherspoon on their next film "Rendition" set.

"Reese Witherspoon and Jake, one of the movie industry's most eligible bachelors, are set to get together at the end of this month to film the CIA thriller Rendition.

Reese's friends predict the two may simply be unable to resist each other. Jake has a determined track record of seducing his female leads, and career-conscious Reese knows a hot new leading man is just what she needs.
"They're both young, talented and magical. I'm sure sparks will fly," says Clifford Streit, the producer of Reese's hit film American Psycho.

Reese's friends say Jake is perfect for the actress — because he's the opposite of Ryan.
"Jake is just the type of guy Reese needs round right now. It's going to be a huge boost for her ego, spending time with someone who shares so many of her values," says an insider.

Unlike the party-hard Ryan, Jake is a private man who shies away from the spectacle of Hollywood. And, like Reese, he loves to spend time at home, walking his dogs and staying in shape.
"Jake is everything Ryan isn't — he's grounded, he's a family man, he loathes the party scene and, most important, he's a one-woman guy," says an insider. Adds the source, "Jake is ripe for the picking. He hasn't had a serious relationship since splitting with Kirsten Dunst two years ago. He has a history of romancing his beautiful co-stars. When he makes eyes at Reese, you can bet there'll be fireworks."

Fab woman gets engaged

She's a timeless beauty with a resemblance to Lauren Bacall.

"Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and her boyfriend, record producer Chris Ivery, are engaged, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Ivery proposed to Pompeo on Friday, her 37th birthday, after breakfast at home. "She was surprised and thrilled," the actress's rep tells PEOPLE. Ivery presented Pompeo with a 3.5-carat emerald-cut diamond in a platinum setting from jewelry designer Tacori.

Pompeo and Ivery, 37, both Boston-area natives, grew up minutes away from each other, but didn't meet until pals introduced them in Los Angeles in 2003. They didn't start dating right away. "We were friends for six months; then one night she just looked different to me," Ivery told PEOPLE in October.

Their relationship is laid-back. "We had a great day yesterday," Pompeo told PEOPLE. "We walked on the beach, then we came home, took a shower and went out for sushi. Then we laid on the couch with the dogs and watched TV."

Pompeo added, "We were six degrees our whole lives, so I feel like we were sort of meant to be. We'll get married eventually, secretly."

Not just I have in common with Ellen Pompeo half of my name, plus I'm a sushi devorator as her. I'm feeling mixed with these news, I'm happy for Ellen and her fiancée, but she will always be for me Bertie Knox from "Moonlight Mile", the fabulous woman who met the shy guy in town, whom she left her past life behind with.
