John Mayer connection

Lance Armstrong, John Mayer and Jake G.

YOUR BODY IS A WONDERLAND
"We got the afternoon
You got this room for two
One thing I've left to do
Discover me
Discovering you

One mile to every inch of
Your skin like porcelain
One pair of candy lips and
Your bubblegum tongue

And if you want love
We'll make it
Swim in a deep sea
Of blankets
Take all your big plans
And break 'em
This is bound to be awhile

Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder (I'll use my hands)
Your body is a wonderland

Something 'bout the way the hair falls in your face
I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillowcase
You tell me where to go and
Though I might leave to find it
I'll never let your head hit the bed
Without my hand behind it

You want love?
We'll make it
Swim in a deep sea
Of blankets
Take all your big plans
And break 'em
This is bound to be awhile

Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder (I'll use my hands)
Your body is a wonderland

Damn baby
You frustrate me
I know you're mine all mine all mine
But you look so good it hurts sometimes

Your body is a wonderland (I'll never speak again)
Your body is a wonderland (I'll use my hands)
Your body is a wonderland (I'll never speak again)
Your body is a wonderland (I'll use my hands)

I'm never speaking up again
Now there's no reason
I've got the kind of love in my hands
To last all season

Da da dup ba da da da" (by John Mayer)
possibly dedicated to our Jake? I'd add. Posted by Picasa

i haven't heard any song from that guy but these lyrics seem like they're written by a schoolboy to me (sorry fans!!)

I agree, gr77. They sound plain mainstream and a bit silly. I don't know the guy (Meyer), but I prefer the underground/"low-fi" scene clearly from the festival line-up.

Aah, Tbl, our official old flames raconteur. In your times it must be a saucy compliment for liberal ladies like you, however I wasn't so lucky, no gentleman appreciated my body as the 8th wonder that obviously is.

I'll take your advice so my ingenuous past and my weeping in hankies will get behind, where are these gentlemen anyways? ;)
