Will Jake Gyllenhaal get the leading role in the next Bourne film?

Matt Damon and Jake Gyllenhaal attending the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 16, 2011

"According to reports, Gyllenhaal was in talks with the film's writer Tony Gilroy on Thursday. Filling Damon's shoes for the next Bourne film was always going to be a big job.
The 40-year-old actor, who has ten years on Gyllenhaal, has successfully played amnesiac assassin Jason Bourne in three of the hit action thrillers, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy , and The Bourne Ultimatum. The new film is set to be release in 2012. Universal Pictures originally intended The Bourne Ultimatum to be the final film in the series, but development of the new film was under way by October 2008.
Damon has successfully played Jason Bourne in all three of the hit action thrillers. Unlike the previous three movies, it is not based on the novels written by Robert Ludlum. Instead the story has a completely different treatment and Damon's role of Jason Bourne will not be entirely to put to rest. The new film won't be putting a new actor in the character of Bourne. Instead, there will be a whole new character in a whole new storyline. 'This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel,' writer Tony Gilroy said back in October last year. 'No one's replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter… this is a stand-alone project...'The easiest way to think of it is an expansion or a reveal. Jason Bourne will not be in this film, but he's very much alive.'
Jake Gyllenhaal - 'Prince of Persia' Portraits in London

Gyllenhaal is not the only leading man being considered for the role.
He follows a long line of actors under contemplation. Twilight's Kellan Lutz and Spiderman star Tobey Maguire are high up on the list, along with Country Strong actor Garrett Hedlund, and his Friday Night Light's co-star Taylor Kitsch". Source: www.dailymail.co.uk

Peter Facinelli On ‘Vampire Viagra’ For ‘Breaking Dawn’

Why does Peter Facinelli joke that his character, Carlisle Cullen, needs “Vampire Viagra” for “Breaking Dawn”? Plus, what is the most “embarrassing” thing about playing his “sexual Tourette’s” afflicted character, Dr. Fitch Cooper, in “Nurse Jackie”? Source: www.accesshollywood.com

Poll reveals women would swap their boyfriends for Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson in Vanity Fair March 2011

"More than 50% of women said they WOULD swap their man for Robert Pattinson in a recent poll.

The sexy Twilight actor roped in 58% of the votes in the 2nd Annual iVillage Entertainment Awards.
350,000 women voted, and considering the competition it’s gotta be an ego boost for Mr Pattinson.

Hot actor Johnny Depp came in second, with 24% of the votes. Then we have Jake Gyllenhaal with 14%, and 3% of women said they would trade their husband with Denzel Washington.

"Water for Elephants" TV-Spot (SD) - Deutsch / German, featuring Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon

We know that 24-year-old Rob is gorgeous, but going as far as to say you’d trade-in your own boyfriend or husband for the Brit actor is extreme". Source: www.fleckingrecord.co.uk
