Very interesting post,Kendra.
I love the set of photos..except for the ones of Shia (I can't stand to look at his face :p)

Why can't you stand looking at Shia? To be honest, for me he is the least interesting actor of these. He can be funny (see Transformers) but I'm not buying his hype.

I just think he's very ugly. His face is annoying to me.
It's funny how actresses must be perfect (everyone is making fun of Kirsten's teeth and Reese's jaw for example) but someone with bellow average looks like Shia is considered cute and a movie star?!!!!

And the way his managers are working overtime to promote him as the next best thing..enough already!!

Yes, gr77, Shia isn't only the least talented actor of this list, he's the least attractive, his features are a bit annoying, there are many more famous actors who care less about their looks than actresses, which is the reason a guy can succeed if he's funny onscreen, but a female star usually has to be a "hottie". Hollywood is sexist despite of its liberal agenda.

Don't buy the Shia hype either, he's a bore. Love the pictures Kendra!

Thanks, Hedda! this won't be definitely Shia's place... By the way, one question: can everybody see all the pictures of the post?

I can see them all.

About sexism in Hollywood, I think it's more evident from the very small number of female directors. And that small number is often critised for making films that are "for women".
Scorcese however has never been critised for his "guy" oriented films. And he's just one example of many established male directors who can't potray womens' "soul" in his films.

Actually the only one I can think of that succeeds in this is Almodovar (I love you Pedro!!!!)

Scorsese's movies are usually centered around male (tortured) leads and his female partenaires aren't so developed via script. Besides our spanish Pedro Almodóvar, whose plot stories focus in almost all his filmography on womens'inner soul, another wonderful exception is David Lynch.
